Although temperatures are no longer at deep-winter levels, the atmosphere still feels very much like winter.
Near the airport, the coastal wind makes the air noticeably sharper and colder than it looks on the thermometer.
After a few slightly milder days, many people have taken off their long padded coats. Still, most are dressed in proper winter layers.
If you tend to feel cold easily, a thick coat is still highly recommended.
